When we came to see this house and potentially purchase it, I walked into the kids bedrooms thinking “WOW, these rooms are *tiny*…” At the time, we had 4 kids, 2 girls and 2 boys, I knew we could make them work- even if they were small. But now, we have 5 kids with another baby on the way! We have had to become much more creative with how we organize and much more intentional about what they keep in their rooms.
The boys that share this room are currently 6, 4 and 1 year old. They are like the 3 musketeers! They absolutely LOVE sharing a room and have formed such an amazing sibling bond. I’ve thought many times, since this isn’t our forever home, even if we move to a bigger home, they will probably still share a bedroom.
BEDROOM THEME
In 2019, we took a cross country RV trip and on that trip we visited the Rocky Mountains. The boys LOVED it so much and fell in love with hiking, the scenery and the overwhelming feeling you get of God’s greatness when in the mountains. So they asked for a mountain room! I had so much fun painting them a blue ombre mountain mural on their wall. The details of mountain artwork and mountain shelves add a special touch.
